Im looking into doing a pronghorn hunt next fall, do you guys know what states i can get an over the counter tag? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far a what states offer OTC I am unsure...However the last trip I made to WY in 2007 i did some poking around on their state website and found drawing odds and there were quite a few 100% draw units which is just as good as OTC.

Nebraska and Colorado (at least parts of it) are OTC, and like noted above many places are 100% draw.

I hunted Wyoming this year with 5 guys.

Bought the tags right over the counter. We all tagged out in 2 days.

Pronghorn everywhere.

Mule deer aswell.

We bought mule deer doe tags which we all tag out in aswell.

SD tags are guaranteed for archery.

x2. About 200 for an either sex archery tag, and for 50 bucks more you can get a second doe only tag.

Plenty of land to roam on out there as well.

+3 for South Dakota.My friend and I did an over the Counter Archery Public Land hunt in 2007. Try to time it for the rut. Started around the 14th of Sep or so where we were.I think it was one of the funnest hunts I have ever been on westalked and Decoyed.
