To kill a buck......
I have had the best season I've had EVER, this year. I've kept quiet about it for the most part. I'm 100% pleased with this year. There are a few decisions and so forth I would take back. I was one shot away from being tagged out in TN before Thanksgiving. That would have been cool.
I have been fortunate enough to take 5 deer this year. Three with my bow and 2 with a rifle, both rifle kills were special circumstances. Neither were with my own gun [&:].
Jan 7 is the last day of the season, regardless of what happens, I'll end this season with a huge smile on my face and a sense of accomplishment.
The freezer is full.
Deer steaks were good tonight too [:-]
I'm thankful for the season I've had and would be happy if it ended tomorrow, but I'm not packing it in yet.
Just an update, and good luck to those still hunting.
This trail camera picture was taken at the bottom of the second picture which is from my stand. Decent deer for here. He's a shooter.

Notice the log in the back of the trail camera picture, and notice the log on the left hand side of the logging road in the picture.
This was when the season was closed for a few weeks.
