RE: base price for admiral?
BowTech in my OPION is the best bow bow's out there today the are not the fastest but are the quietest and smoothest... And I agree with the $829.
To each his own, but I have a hard time understanding why I or anyone would drop over a 1K....when all said and done for a bow that might not be the fastest, but is quiet.....
I can't remember the last time a deer jumpedthe string because of my bow being to loud or slow.....and it's 7-8 years old and I paid $400 for it new.
do the deer get better at moving out of the way?

Speed and Silence i believe to be two huge factors in bowhunting. You dont need the fastest or the quietest bow, but having a combo of both is great.
I had a bow that was fast and loud, and yes i had deer jump the string. After that i bought the quietest bow i could find, and then i had penetration issues and was not able to shoot at anything past 20yards with confidence.
So i got another bow that had speed and was quiet. I personally shoot a Mathews, i think there great, but i have also heard great things about Bowtech's. I also perfer single cam bows and wont buy double cam bows no matter who there made by. Also, i think the bow industries inflation of top tier bows is getting a little out of control. Prices are getting a bit out of control.

It's real easy for a newcomer to read some of this and believe that it's a necessity to have a $900.00 bow along with $300-$400 in aarows, sights, rests, and broadheads in order to be doing the right way when that is the furthest thing from the truth.

GUS....Isn't this like telling the guy who bought his wife a 3ct diamond that a 1/2ct is "just as good"? The 3ct is definitely worth more (so is the new bow). There's pride in ownership (with both).
