There was one day this season i wish i could have stopped the wind I had a 160" bruiser in front of me broadside at 42 yards. I have waited years for a chance like that. The wide was blowing about 25 mph (cross wind) I had to keep my elbow on the tree just for security. I didnt take the shot. it just wasnt meant to be. now if the wind wasnt violent, id have sent one

I would have made the second Saturday in Oct. 15 minutes longer, so that 160" buck would have made it in front of me with shooting light left.[:@]

I would have never taken the 3 blade shockwave expandables out of my box to hunt with. The reverse helical blade turned my arrow flight into swiss cheese.

I know better than to hunt with a head I've never shot....stupid me.

I spenta whole snowy, wet, windy day on standshivering and shaking in the cold. I had a nice eight come intwo hours before dusk. Mymuscles were too tight and exhausted to draw my bow (eightattempts). If I had it to do over again, I wouldbe better prepared. The deer would not walk away.

, wether ....... or a lost shot

I sat for hours wanting that shot on that world class 160 plus 10 point I sent an arrow over in IL on Nov 11th, 2008. Veterans Day because a veteran of bowhunting missed a true veteran of a deer!

I would have shot a certain 5x5 elk across a canyon from me for 52 instead of 45.

This is a realeasy question to answer. I would have waited to see if my 150"+ 8pt that I missed last week might have come in closer than hedid when I shot at him. Also, If I had it to do over, I wouldn't have killed the buck that did. It was only my second day of the hunt. What the hell was I thinking? That goes down as probably the dumbest thing I've ever done as a bowhunter, and I knew better![&o]
