Big picture? If helping feed a family in need or a homeless shelter is not the big picture to you.....I don't know what else to say.

I had a one horned spike come in behind meduring the first week of bow season. He got on the wrong side of the wind and spooked out of there about 40 or 50 yards. He then proceeded to blow at me like 30 times over the next 10-15 minutes until he finally vacated the area. Needless to say the rest of my morning was rather uneventful. I was so pissed during his blowing episode that if I could have gotten close enough to that deer I would have punched him in the face, I'm sorry I know that is disrespectful but that's how I felt.[:@]

Dang, what a read.. LOL
As for the ? Rybo asked, Yeah I have a lot of respect for some deer. Not as much for other deer, kind of like with humans. None of which I would treat like God."Respect" for anythingimo is earned not given.

I respect the animal and I want as quick of a kill as possible.I do feel bad to see them suffer and with every kill there is a feeling of temporary remorse if I have to see them lay there and kick or twitch. But its a part of hunting and a way of life for me.
