Had a good week in WV!
Since I spend most of my time here in this forum, I figured I'd put a link here for my thread in the deer hunting forum. I spend 80% of my time bowhunting, and about 20% with a rifle or muzzleloader. Every year I look forward to our annual trip to the cabin and a week of rifle hunting - fun and memories. This year was especially good. My son, dad, nephew, and myself all took nice 8pt bucks. It was a great week of hunting...I thought I'd share it with you guys. Now, back at it withthe bow....

That's one fantastic season, congrats to all. I have hunted WVA a few times and there are some very nice deer over there in them hills. Where are you, are you close to DougMd? He is at the end of the world.

Not exactly sure where Doug is. We actually hunt right where the panhandle meets the main part of the state. We do have alot of deer, but the area is not known for real big bucks overall. A 110" -120" is a real good one in our area. We did see one this year that may have topped that, but hard to say for sure without laying hands on him. Our self proposed management plan has been working pretty well though, its getting better every year.
