Isay it all depends on your Bowhunting "stage" in life.
I would let him pass since I'm into my 52nd year of Bowhunting BUT would love one of my kids to get a shot at something that size-even in IOWA!!!!!! I would never tell anyone he was to small-it's an individual decision.
This is what got to close about 4:30 yesterday-no horns at all but have let some spikes & forkeys walk even closer....

ahunter....

I'm at the "stage" in my hunting life....that I'd shoot him....because he's the biggest deer I'd have ever seen from stand, here.

(I know what you mean, though. Size is relative to location)

And congrats on 52 years of this.

Let him live another year and let him enjoy life before you poke a hole in him.

Besides he'll be bigger next year. 3.5 yr old maybe 4. Good lookin' buck. Big body!
