Default Shot the Diamond Iceman Today

I'm still waiting on the dad'gum 09 hoyts to show up. Our sales rep seems to be often tardy returning phone calls.... said they shipped on Friday last... should be here tmw.... but likely not til after thanksgiving.

However....

today the UPS guy broght a different kinda oblong box from even further out west.

Saw Diamond on the box... new it could only be one thing.....the Iceman.

Bow is nice and light.... almost exactly the same size as the Admiral at glance. Subtle differnces in the lines.. and of course its a one cam.

The draw is smooth as fresh churrned butter. This bow was a 29" 71# and had a BC speed of 302fps. I shot it over the chrono with tied nock sets, loop, WB and a 425gr Maxima Hunter and it registered 274fps and 275fps several times respectively.

Its not quite as quiet as the Admiral... but honestly the admiral is about the quietest bow I've ever shot. The Iceman is still very mum. Its a different kinda noise... sort of a pinging thump... hard to explain.

No vibrations... no shock... nice and smooth. If you were thinking about getting one... go ahead and put a deposit down.

I shot the Ice the other day and really liked it. It'll be my next bow!

Put me down for one too.

...cannot wait till mine shows up. "Kid in a candy store" does not begin to describe it.

I will have one, I just wish it came in one other camo option. Glad to hear it's the real deal.

I want one bad. Alas, I will not be able to retire the Marquis until next year. I just can't do a new bow every year.
