very well Bruce....introduce a kid to hunting and have them use a recurve, blid folded,with wooden arrows and knap head and kill a giant on public land in the rain from the ground before the rut with the rifle season open!!!!!!!

How about killing a deer on public land with traditional equipment AFTER the area got pounded by bowhunters, gun hunters, and black powder hunters.

But I cheated a little by being in a treestand.

Killed on 12/28/07 with a 50# Bear Kodiak Hunter, and a '70's era Pearson cedar shaft and Zwickey head.

Not good - just lucky.
