Heres mine:

This year I was sitting in my treestand and nothing was moving but the squirrels. I love watching them because they always do funny stuff. There were three squirrels in the same tree across from me. They fought up and down that tree off and on for about 10 minutes. Finally one of them, I guess, "lost" the fight and was sitting in between my tree and the tree they were fighting in. He then decides the come over to the base of my tree and begin climbing. It gets beside my head and I'm trying not to move cause I don't want to spook it. I can't take it anymore so I turn around to look at it and screeches and attempts to jump to another tree. Well, he doesn't make it and lands head first into the ground. I'm laughing my ass of and its just laying there. It finally got back up. The dumb thing went back to the tree they were fighting in beforehand.....

I have a similar story. My brother and I were slowly walking through a patch of woods looking for deer in the late morning and this squirrel appeared in the tree in front of us. We were at the bottom of a creek bank with the tree that the squirrel was in between us and the creek bank, so I decided to take a shot at the squirrel. It was about 25 yards away, and I ended up missing it by no more that an inch. That squirrel had no idea we were there, and when that arrow went by his ear, he let out a whole series of those alarm barks that they have, fell out of the tree from about 15 feet lands on the ground, hollers again, and heads for the nearest oak tree. I have never seen a squirrel run so fast. My brother and I were standing there trying not to laugh to loud because we were still trying to find deer, but we didn't do too well on the staying quiet part. I haven't seen anything that funny in a long time. It was kinda one of those things that you had to be there to really get how funny it is, but it is truly one of the funniest things I have ever had happen to me in the woods.

Ummm I didn't do anything funny, but I did drop my bow out of my stand.

OUCH...

Tuesday morning was in my box blind because it was so windy... a rabbit came in and I tried to grab it... not a good Idea it kicked the **** out of me...

A rabbit is alot stronger than they look lol

This past archery season I'm all set up in my stand and it's still dark. I hear something on the tree in front of me and in the light of the sky, I see what looks like a chipmunk in the branches. So I lean back against my tree and I'm just standing there watching him. All of a sudden I see it leap from the tree and "I think that's a flying squirrel, he's coming at me!!"

Thwap! He's now stuck on my thigh!!. So here is me, all 6' 210#, trying to slowly shake my leg and not rock my API climber out of the tree and he's not budging. So I reach down and try to swat and he jumps away. I spent the next few minutes trying to look around and see if he is on the seat, in my bag etc. Definitely an exciting morning.

It's not something funny that I saw but rather something stupid that I did once: At this one piece of land that I use to hunt was a thick cable across the road. I had the key and would stop the car and lower the cable, then drive the car over it and then lock the cable behind me, keeping anyone else out. Well, I had done this pretty much all season, when I thought it would be a good idea to park at the cable and just walk back to where I was hunting.

Well, I park at the cable, get out, go over to the cable, unlock it, drop it, step over it, pick it back up, and lock it back! I took probably two steps and stopped, looked back at the cable and said to myself, "Dude, you're a friggin idiot"! [&:]I'm glad nobody was watching me that morning!

thats some good stuff guys one week ago i climbed my tree via climber. In the dark i pulled my bow up hung the quiver and loaded an arrow.When Day light came i happened to glance down at my bow in the holder, and thought huh, something dosent look right My bow was in the holder upside down [&:]Doh!!!! first time in 30 years
