Urban how come you dont just leave the rope between the halves tied all the time? I have never untied mine...Just curious

another fan of the summit treestands. own the viper myself and as stated (multiple times) as long as you take your time you can be pretty quiet with them. ive had on more than one occasion deer walk by as im climbing, mostly always while climbing down. of course they cant come by when i actually have my bow in my hand...

Go in early....and take your time. I'm getting ready to go to a ittle staging area right off a doe bedding area.....and the key is....take your time and go early. I've had success in the AM"s with both stands.
What GMMAT said. That is truly gospel.

You can be REALLY quite. But, you cannot be silent. So, go in early, be quite, and get settled. I prefer to be in 1hr to 45 minutes before first light. I've had no trouble ever doing this.
