I would have to say Hoyt this year. A lot of people are really interested in this year' s lineup in my neck of the woods. Next year it will be someone else who comes out with the hot new idea.

Two pheasant seasons ago, I took a fellow pheasant hunting in my bird-lease area. He had recently dumped his Remington 11-87, and shelled out $1400.00 bucks for a new 12-gauge Ruger over-under.

Being the lease-area had sections that called for quick shots, as well as long shots, and that I was also armed with my upland (pointing) Lab, I decided to take my 1950 Remington 16 gauge " Wingmaster" pump, w/29" mod barrel, loaded with No. #6 high-brass w/chilled shot.

Being the guy was my guest; I hung back, worked my Lab, and let the fellow have the shots. After working almost the entire lease-area; the guy was dragging his butt, that Ruger had beat the fellow black and blue, he had shot almost a full box of shells, and only clipped one bird that he did not kill.

Being I tried to never hunt my Lab without putting down a bird or two for his work (old Max has passed on), I took some shots in the last 300 yards of the area. Two birds shot at about 40 yards, one shot at about 30 yards = three dead birds with a..... 51-year old, 16 gauge pump.

Moral of story.........

well i think the razortec is the most talked about bow so fare. but the bowtecs arent fare behind i shot most of there bows and really liked the extream vft. the alpine bows seem to be catching on i have seen alot of guys using them at 3d shoots. but i think hoyt will be king this year.

For those caring to know ..Mathews is on a 10 year plan....Releasing little things over the next few years....If you put all your ideals out in one year...What do you have for the next????? Hoyt with their cam n half was great...But we all know Hoyt changes cams every year...So how long will the keep this one????? BowTech ..What can you say but WoW.....They sure have put alot out there in a short time....
