Dude that sucks. I feel your pain. I had a small buck and a doe start coming into my back yard yesterday morning. I grab my bow and go to step out on the deck, only to be disappointed that my neighbor walks out to burn his papers, deer took off [:@][:@]. I only have a doe tag left and no where to get one. The land I hunt on, the land owner said no does this year, let them walk. I can hunt my neighbors 15 acers, but he wont let me put up a stand and the area is very hard to hunt on the ground with a bow. [:@]

I feel for ya. Yesterday (condition wise) should have been perfect here in PA, but I saw two deer the entire day. That's by far the worse Saturday I've had all season, and people all around PA are seeing chasing and dropping deer...around here it's like a wasteland. I don't get it sometimes. Just hang in there, though, it all comes down to patience and persistance.

persistance i have patience...thats another question. i was sitting there figuring i've only put in about 75 hours this year which isn't alot for me. they put me on 10 hour shifts so i only have the norings to hunt now. and this spot is an afternoon hotspot.

Same in my area! A wasteland. As far as patience and persistance go, since Oct 11th up until yesterday, I'vehunted 17 days totaling 140 hours. Of those 17 days, 9 were all day sits. My last 4 sits I've seen NOTHING!I've seen only 16 deer during this time.[&o]I think it has to be this week for us Matt.
