well, i know the answer.... BUT i can't get used to it.
The railroad has me working 11-7am , probally for ALL of deer season. I know that mid morning is a good time to hunt, but i HATEwalking into the woods between 730 and 8 am. IT JUST DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT!
i guess i'm looking for some reassurance.

TELL me to man up and get out there!
seroiusly, does anyone have any experience with this nite shift crap?
thanks!

During the rut, midday can be the very best time. The deer 'pattern' the early morning/late evening hunting and concentrate movement during midday. You will never know what you're missing until you try it.

thanks for the replies!
i hunt EVERY evening, i guess i really just miss listening to the woods "come alive" at 1st light.
i've got a couple spots in mind that should capitalize on other hunters getting bored by 9am, maybe move some deer to me...
good luck eveyone!
