It took me prolly 3 years with rifle, and3 years with a bow to get my first. Patience is a virtue.

I guess I've been lucky. The first year I hunted with a shotgun I got a deer. And this is the first year with a bow and I got a deeron the 11th. Don't get discouraged though you will score. It took a lot ofscouting over the spring and summer to get on top of deer, along with luck of course. Your luck will change. I forsee you getting a deer this year!

Hang in there, every day you hunt and don't take one, you'reone daycloser towhen you'll get your first one. I'm going through a big time slump right now, but I know that eventually I'll start getting back on track and getting some more kills under my belt. Nowget back out there and get your deer!
