Broadhead suggestions
I was using thunderheads and switched to muzzy 4 blades but they shoot different than my field tips. i am thinking about switching to rage expandables but i am wondering what you all suggest.
So what would be good broadheads that have a nice size entry hole and leave a good blood trail?

Magnus Stinger 4blade 100gr or 125gr. Magnus Snuffer SS 100gr 3blade, or Magnus Snuffer 125gr 3blade. Magnus heads and espically the snuffers are all one peice. Damn near unbreakable and can be resharpend. and have a life time garontee, Just send back a damaged or flawed broadhead and Magnus will send a free head to replace it...

They Fly like field points and wont fail or break or hangup like expandibles.
oh and as a closing note...
Magnus Snuffer 125gr.. come in a box of 6 for less than what you would pay for 3 of most other broadheads.

Two words........Slick Tricks.
Mechanicals are well.............mechanical. I can't figure out why you wouldtake a chance on something not opening...falling open before the shot, etc..... Isn't there enough things that could go wrong on an archery hunt?

Want more??????
Here's what I've killed with them this year.
All of these had awesome blood trails. The elk I shot @ 68 yds and didn't get a passthrough. I shot him in the pouring rain and he still left a blood trail that looked like someone was dumping blood from a bucket.........from the entrance hole only.
Question how big is a 30.06 hole?

http://www.broadheadtests.com/TUNING.htmlFirst thing you should do is check to see if your bow is tuned and if your arrows are set up correctly. Muzzys will useually fly very wel from a tuned setup. Once your bow is tuned you can pick from a lot of different heads if your still not happy with the muzzys but first get the tuning issues fixed.

RE: Broadhead suggestions
1. Tune the bow
IMO / IME:Either shoot Slick Trick fixed or Rocket Steelheads or Sidewinders for mechanicals
I've hunted with what I recommended and the results were satisfactory
Those heads also fly the best from my paper tuned bow with Blazer fletching
Spitifres also fly great, but so far I've only killled a turkey with them.
