I think bowtech is making the same mistake PSE started. They are putting out an entire new line every year. Your old 07 guardian is now worth zip on ebay. Before you could count on your patriot or liberty to really retain its value. But now, no more. So in turn, you do like me and hang onto that bow for 4-5 years. Instead of getting a new wizbang bow.

He wasn't criticising,he was asking why the difference of opinion on the newest offerings.AND,Hoyts speeds are almost exact and they even are claiming +- 2 fps on the Alphamax.Just answering the question.
He may be off on the weight but it is what is on Bowtech's site.
I have made it very public that I love the center pivot design,even went and shot them when they came out because of it.I just didn't like the grip or draw cycle of the Guardian but I have not shot the Admiral. I hated the draw cycle of the 08 Commander so I doubt my opinion will change much.
I agree,it is a great time to be in the market.If you can't find what you are looking for in a bow now,you aren't going to.

Both speeds are conservative from what it seems. Bowtech claims to have conservative speeds this year to avoid confusion (great idea), and they most likely are. In this case, both speeds will be accurate, Hoyt is always pretty spot on.
I'm not critizing the bow man. People who take it this way are proving my point. Im pointing out the similarities in two flagship bows for this year, and the difference in the reception from people. I already said I thought both would be fine bows.

Hoyt or Bowtech....after a day of carrying it around elk hunting, they both feel like 50 pounds of added weight
Did kill my last good buck in PA with a Hoyt...maybe it was my lucky horseshoe ???

We all know that people are biased towards bowtech on this site, which like stated before is perfectly ok. Its all opinion. Personely i believe the Hoyts are the best (and easily the most durable).

I own Bowtechs but I like Hoyts and PSE just fine. The Bowtech was a little better this year to me and I probably won't buy one for 3-4 mores years. I wonder which one I'll like in 2012!
I'll make it clear, I don't like Mathews. I think they sold their 'soul' so to speak to the Solocam name and that alone makes them inferior.So they are not pushing the technology edge IMHO like the other big 3. But give 'em credit, they have a loyal following.
