Default About time but no kill

Last year i was on private land had deer around me on every hunt but two. I missed twice so no deer. This year i have hunted 15 of the last 21 days give or take one or two. I have seen deer three times when walking out and once when driving to my spot. I saw five when setting up my blind for a morning hunt. But already posted about it. I have yet to see a deer when in my stand or ground blind. Till today. I got to the blind about 6.45 Sit there till day light, about 30 minuted into day light i hear something to myleft in the bean field. What sucks is i was hunting the corn field and looking to my right. A doe rather large to ran full tilt out of the woods 10 yards from me and out into the field about 20 yards from me downwind. She stopped looked around and ran off. Even though she was already spooked she did not seem to know or care i was there. So i figure i am getting the scent stuff down since the wind was 10 miles an hour and it was going right toward her. If she stopped for another 20 secs i would have meat in the freezer and my gut . I was not lucky enough to get it on video since i forgot the tripod and my cam was still in the pack.

It is about time things start heading my way. Two great hunt back to back with going bust so long. I had one issue today a guy a talk to at the office when we sign in walked out 30 yards in front of me then back in with a game cart. I figure he got a deer since he went to his truck 1/3 mile from where i was to get the cart. I figured with the two trips through i was screwed so i left. Though i am not mad at him it is public land and i knew he was going to be in the same area. Heck he let me in on how good the area was the week before. Though i had already scouted it some.

Though the bad luck did not stay away when i left yesterday i heard and tick tick when i was driving. I thought i had a nail in my tire. Nope a 4 inch long 3/8th bolt not a lag just a flat bolt you use a nut on. I have never heard of this happening. I even wonder if someone might have stopped and stuck on between my tire and the gravel. Maybe some Peta dumb***.
Let me find someone messing with my truck because i am hunting.

Luckily the tire shop patched it cost me 13 bucks.

All in all a good morning hunt. Things are kicking up hopefully i will drop one soon.

Good luck guys sorry for the long post.
