FINALLY!!! NY southern zone bow seasons starts in the morning. After all the waiting and hearing of everyone else's success already, I'm ready...well, ready as I'm gonna be. Unfortunately, I'll get the morning to hunt, maybe Sunday, then not til Thursday!! ...but...it's all good.

Nine hours and counting, and I will be ever so happily perched in my stand, awaiting the demise of that big ol' ten point I 've been watching for the last 3 weeks. I think I got him pegged. Double and triple check that all of your equipment is in the truck and in working order...Batteries flashlight, rangefinder.....

Opening morning here I went out and forgot my rangefinder. Had a doe come out first thing in the morning estimated her for 30 yds and she was only 20.....Gave here a harmless haircut off of her back....The bad thing about it was this was the FIRST time I have ever ran a video. Here is my blunder..

Ahhh, got ya. I'm up in the other poor county, Yates. Way up in the NW corner tho. Not too many deer in the area I hunt most.
