Default Anchor Point?

i have another quick question for more experienced bowhunters. i'm a little confused about my anchor point. i've always placed the knuckle of my trigger finger in that small dent right behind the earlobe as my anchor, with the back half of the fletching pressed up against my jaw. but from watching hunting videos and 3d tournaments, i see that a lot of people put their trigger knuckle just behind their jaw under the ear and have the nock at the corner of their mouth. do i need to change my anchor point? help would be greatly appreciated

Showing us a pic of yourself at full draw will help us all tremendously.

The knucle behind the ear is more repeatable.

The nock at the corner of the mouth is also.

FYI - The nock @ the corner of the mouth also indicates a proper draw legnth.

IMHO

I agree, I've always used the nock in the corner of my mouth.

Ianchor with the nock / loop / release at the corner of my mouth, tip of nose touches string.
High anchor causes front sight to have to be set lower, but I still have a 60 yard pin.
Sight housing is in alignment with peep at full draw.
This anchor is not typical, but very repeatable.

I put my index finger knuckle right in the back corner of my jaw by my earlobe with the tip of my nose on the bow string. If that makes any sense lol

Works pretty good for me

Index knuckle on ear lobe, string barely touching nose, feather touching the corner of my mouth, peep sight centered around pin housing.
