I said it in another post and I will say it here again, Why hunt for Bick Bucks when you can just pay big bucks.
I wish industry and all these hunting shows would stop putting some much into the size of the horns and more into the hunt itself.

Size doesn't matter.

Don't get me wrong though. I believe any animal that is harvested is a trophy and in any given area a 90in buck could be a monster for that area and would make someone proud. but when more and more, all we are seeing is land being purchased and used to pen raise deer and sold to the highest bidder, It truly is sad and we are putting to much into the size. If folks would stop paying the prices to have braggin rights, places like these would go out of business.

For that kind of money, you could go on a quality trophy hunt out west in the wilds and likely tag out, an have an actual experience to talk about.
Yeah, but they don't what to work for it. They want instant gratification and the ability to brag abouthow thier deer is bigger than their colleagues deer.
Yeeeeeeep. I'm thinking about an outfitted hunt next year for bear and my wife was like, but what if you didn't get one? Wouldn't that stink given the money you spent? I explained to her that its the hunt and not the kill. The latter is what I 'm hoping for as the end result, but if I have a fun week, it was all worth it. Walking into a game farm where they basically have the quarry tied down so you are "guarenteed" makes me want to puke.
