I pretty much always find better buys at Gander than Cabela's which both are the same distance from my house. No secret Gander would be my first stop unless I have time to kill. Cabela's grand opening they had certail deals on things but did not drop the prices down on anything. Just special buys or certain sales. I would be surprised if BPS did anything different.
Hey Tribal, Do you go to the Cabelas in Rogers? What Gander?

Sidewalk sales at cabelas are alwyas nice
Yeah Kyle I'm about 25 minutes from Rogers cabelas and I usually go to St Cloud's Gander unless I have the time to hit Maple Groves. The sidewalk sales you can usually find something at a good price but it's never exactly what I amthere atthestore to buy.

I think you'll find the days of saving at the "Discount" giants have been long gone. There are usually better buys on most everything somewhere else. What they do have is selection in places like fishing departments. I find Bass Pros selection of camo very limited. Boot selection is good. Archery and stuff like that.... no way in heck would I buy at Bass Pro.

I think this is especially true for in store purchases. I still find great deals online at the big boxes.
