the side of the bed sits eye level so just grapping it and tossing it in will be a chore
I use a plastic sled, a long ridgid one. It will haul deer out easy. When I get to the truck I lift one end on the tail gate and lift while pushing the other in. No problems.

i'm sure you can figure it out...after all you must be a smart guy if ya got rid of the ford for a chevy!
