Default A= for High Country(and lesson learned)

My Iron Mace is @ 17 months old. It chewed through a cable at 4 months. I have 7 bows of various ages and have never had an issue, so one can say I have become lazy at registering my bows...couldn't even find the receipt.
I had it fixed at Gander Mountain. This year, as I started practicing, I noticed it did it again. Since last year, HCA has gotten a dealer in my area. He figured the cam was warped; his guess dry fire (before I got it, of course) or factory defect. 17 months old, no paper work and a possible dry fire case usually means SOL in my world. High Country warrantied it without batting an eye! I think I might hang with this company for a while! Nick's Archery in Conway Springs, KS; if you need any help..... Oh yeah, register your bow.....

I've found that if the dealer has a good relationship with the manufacturers they deal with, 9 times out of 10 they will take care of you.

Glad to hear you're being taken care of.

I shot High Country for years and never once had a issue with customer service. I have told this story several times before, but a year or so after buying my Brute Force I was shooting at the pro shop before opening day. Another guy was there as well who had just bought a new HCA bow. His shooting started to fly off and he got to looking and found a crack on one of his split limbs. He went to the owner of the shop and they gave High Country a call....High Country not only warrentied it, but told the shop owner to take the defective bow, and give the guy a new bow and they would cover the shop owners expense on the new bow.

Needless to say the guy caught to hunt on opening morning all because of HCA.
