i often sweat like a pig....just the way i am...not outta shape...i can WALK a marathon with my stand and pack on my back...bet i carry 30-40lbs on my back and am often going DEEP...

like others said...head in earlier...take your time...and if your not about shivering at the truck, you got too much clothes on to be walking! i pack my outter layers....i dont even put them on till im settled in the tree and cooled down...kind of a pain in the butt, but it works....try getting dressed on a 20" platform 20ft off the ground and big ole rubber boots on your feet....its a challenge...oh..im also usually juggling my bow in one hand! lol

You have to walk in earlier and half nakee ... that's what I do .... you sweat way less ,,, I backpack my clothes to my stand ...

So remember, earlier and half nakee
you only go half nakee?? I always walk through the briar patches fully naked.

Sometimes I will however wear my loin cloth

Ryan.

What type of under layers are you wearing?

.For your first layers get a pair of under armour(or UA knockoff). UA heat gear would probably be the best for you. Walmart has a brand that is very similar to UA, but not as expensive. I've never heard of these ...is it a type of undershirt?
Under Armour is clothing that wicks away perspiration from your body. It can be pricey but its great stuff. I would get rid of the cotton, don't have that be your first layer. Once it is wet, you will never get it to dry during your hunt.

Under Armour® HeatGear® Long- and Short-Sleeve Shirts and Bottoms
Under Armour Closeout!

Stay comfortable when you're on a long hike or stalk even in the hottest weather with HeatGear garments. HeatGear is engineered with the Under Armour Fabric™, a microfiber blend featuring Under Armour's signature Moisture Transport System and reliable compression. Wicks sweat away from the skin and dries four times faster than cotton. Field-tested in simulated summer training-camp conditions, Under Armour garments kept the core body temperature of each wearer much cooler than subjects wearing cotton. This lightweight microfiber is designed to fit tight to your skin, under your outerwear. Made in USA and Imported.

Its on sale at Cabelas too.

It is made out of 81% 5 oz. PolyArmour™ / 19% Elastane

It doesn't necessarily need to be Under Armour, although they make it in a heat gear(which is what you need). Anything made with polypropylene will do.
