Thats pretty messed up man, setting a trap that could severly hurt or kill someone. In my opinion your actually way worse than them. If you truely injure this person like you are hoping, then I hope you get everything thrown at you that you possibly can.

In all seriousness, dont do anything stupid. If this guy is really just confused, then he dont deserve to meet his maker. Catch him, but give him the benefit of the doubt and let him try to explain him self. If that dont work then...

I say that if this thief was where he was supposed to be and doing what he's supposed to do, then he wouldn't be in the position to be boobie trapped. I'm sure that nobody wants to see this guy get seriously injured, but he's trying to catch him the best way he knows how. If you don't like it, then why don't you offer some other solutions of how to catch this thief, instead of making him out to be the bad guy here.

Best thing for you to do is put up a trail cam pointed at your stand in a tree high enough they cant get it..... Then if you get pics of them again, turn them in. Hope you catch them cause that would suck going out and not having your stands.

All I'm saying is that putting a cam high in a tree isn't the answer. It CAN be taken as well. You don't need to be a professional to pull this off.
