I've never seen one for sale here in NC, PT....but I haven't looked for them OR read anything about them in our regs.

On the surface....I'm not sure I like what they may do, though.

Only the three blades are considered barbed. This is because after they deploy they cant fold back to 90 degrees or less, like the 2 blades can. Or atleast thats what ive heard.

Oh, and i live in NY as well, so they are not legal...

Here's all I found and knew on PA's regulations.

Broadhead - Shall have an outside diameter or width of at least 7/8-inch
with no less than two cutting edges. Cutting edges shall be in the same
plane throughout the length of the cutting surface. Broadheads shall not
exceed three inches in length measured from the tip of the broadhead to the
point that fits against the arrow shaft.

There was then a release that allow Crimson Talons which had curved blades and were considered NOT in the same plane.

As far as I know, the only regulations that they have on us aside from the norm (ie. no night hunting)is that you have to hunt with at least #40 draw weight!!
