Its the dark horse of bows. I love it. Not trying to sound showy or snobbish or whatever, BUT, money wasnt an object at the time of purchase. I looked shot Hoyt, Matthews, PSE, Martin, and Browning at the time of purchase. I cam back to the Martin Cougar Magnum. Wasnt the most expensive. Had the speed, stability, quietness of any bow on the market at the time. I bought it. I love it. Matthews, IMHO, is more name than bow. I dont care for them at all. That was in 2001. I still shoot that bow. I just cant put it away for a new bow, even though I love some of the BowTecs and Hoyts on todays market.
EDIT: Oh and I shoot 287fps

i shoot a martin "prowler se" 04 model i think.
its a good bow...martin make the best bows for the price.
and ill go out on a limb and say they make the best bows at anyprice.
they stick with what works...and dont put a bunch of fancy into their bows
