Martin makes an excellent bow, especially for the price. Warranty is excellent and their customer service is awesome.

New, the Firecat runs $549.

As for the Slayer, I have no idea as its a model I don't carry.

Remember that one pic? Was that a Martin bow? In you're younger days?

Martin has been around for a long time. They use to be more mainstream than they are now though. Ask any old hunting veteran about Martin and they have probably owned one. There bows are fantastic in my opinion, you just don't hear about them all that often because they don't spend a whole lot on marketing like the other major brands. I would put Martin up there with the top manufacturers today. Check out the Bengal and the Cheetah as well. Bass Pro offers a couple different packages starting around $329.00. If your on a budget look at the Jaguar it is a quiet and fun little bow to shoot. As for the firecat i have seen them new for around $549.00, and i have no idea about the slayer but i bet it's a little more than that.

The Slayer is in the same ballpark as a topline Bowtech or Hoyt pricewise.

Great Bows, I shot several critters with my old Jaguar!

Slayer is listed at $699, I believe so OTC price is probably around $649. It's the speed bow of the crop.

Martin???? Who ever heard of them? They've only been around since 1951. They haven't stayed in business by putting out inferior products.

been shooting my martin for 3years now. i love it! my brother just picked up a big game for $289 but dicks didn't put it together right and he went back up there and complained and they gave him $64 cash to take it to a bow shop.. that even covered having it set up for him.

imo, martin is a great bow and i plan on hunting with it as long as possible.you just cant beat the quality for the price
