How many deer have you missed with bow?

I' m not sure how many. Maybe a dozen or so???? The first few years were quite a learning experience for me !!! LOL...over, under, you name it, I did it. Heck I even shot one in the guts once
That sucked...
I used to get buck fever so bad, I still can' t believe it. Once I finally got settled down and got a couple under my belt, it' s been fairly smooth sailing since. I still miss one every now and then, usually due to something like a deflection, but it' s very rare now, as I won' t shoot unless I have a very good shot opportunity. Luckily, I' ve never messed up on a big one, ....of course I' ve never gotten a big one either....yet

Crap, I clean whiffed three just last year. All book bucks.12 yds., 17 yds, and 21 yds. A clump of grass, a plumb branch, and tried to thread a shot through an opening the size of a knats behind. Finally figured out you cant get away with some shots with mechs than you can with r.b.bhds. Grab one blade of a mech on an obstruction, and the arrow turns into a Polish guided missele.Went back to the latter. All clean whiffs, thank God. It was just one of those years, where everything went bad. Im still in therapy, and will be till Oct. 1st.
