Who goes to a bow shop, or installs a peep in their string, and says " Let's put a peep in there so I can figure out my anchor point"
No one. You establish all of your anchor points THEN set your peep sight. The fact that it's a reference is from pure default. You seem to be stuck on it being THE FOCAL reference. It isn't. Conceded. Never said it was. In fact.....I'll say it again....it's the last thing I'd refer to. But..... It is "A" reference...........(and if it makes you feel better).....for me.

Oh yeah.....and Matt[8D]

Kinda like everybody did with your "Had a good weekend" thread. See how easy that was for all of us?
I do. I guess I am just not one of the poular kids like youBut I am smart enough to know when to keep my mouth shut and listen. That's how I learned alot of what I know and why people continued to be willing to share information with me. Which is preciely why you don't see me on here asking a bunch of, well let's just say, not the brightest questions. But then again I learned all of the stuff you are asking questions about a long time ago. So maybe I should cut you a little more slackconsidering you're still just a rookie[:-]

Here's a GREAT example of that!......lol

Maybe we should use the bowhunting contest to compile some statistical data to help settle the scent lok argument. Just to keep it simple we could have categories like no scent control, full scent lok with full scent control measures, full scent control measures without scentlok and then determine the % of hunters in each group that kill a buck and the average gross score of the deer killed by the hunters in each group. Just an idea....... - Slientassasin

Well if thats the case, a double standard would only exist if all things were the same and one was chosen or allowed to do something over the other, since a Bear is a Bear and a Deer is a Deer there is no double standard. Not that I care if anyone baits their deer in.
Kind of like a monkey bitching about not being allowed to own a hand gun .

Baiting is baiting! That's your common denominator....and I have nothing against either being baited. I was just yanking your chain.

And you're on your own with the monkeys!

There's but one anchor point, which is where you draw the string to,then stop once at full draw, every time. Nose to string, peep, pin, they are strictlyreference points. Like Rob said, it's all about the anchor being consistent.
