Mission Archery makes some great under the radar bows. I believe they may also put out a ladies bow but I'm not for sure on it. Mathews makes the Missions and they are very smooth and quiet.

You can buy a brand new Pearson Stealth on Archerytalk for $375 from Monofletch.

The Stealth is a top of the line bow. It has Barnsdale Limbs, Stone Mountain Strings, Hybrid cams, and a 316 IBO. You won't find a better bow for the money. That's what I shoot.

There are some bows I wont buy used because of the problems they have and there are some I wont buy because of the company. Hoyt is a companyI wont support anymore however, if I did it would be to buy an 05/06 Protec. Well worth 400 or less. I've had an 05 since 05 and have abused it with little harm to the bow. Still sends shafts out in the 280 range, is very quiet and accurate. It is larger than most these daysthough.

Most of what this bow offers is a result of my work and it's possible I could do the same to a different bow, but it's ability to be abused has help me do what I have with it and not need replacing. No other bow I've shot compares to this one for a hunting bow.

I'll bet it's also lighter. The pitch given for these bows is you wont mind the weight of these boat anchors becuse it makes them so dead in the hand. [:@]
