Default Need Advice From Experienced Bowhunters

Hey guys I need a few tips. I've been a riflehunter for several years, and I was looking for a new challenge, so I picked up bowhunting this year. Any advice or tips on shooting to make my shots more accurate?

Put the bow down before it becomes too addictive.... trust me, by listening to me you will sav e yourself lots of money and aggravation..

HAHAHA just kidding man welcome to the sport, all I can tell you is practice practice practice. If you have an archery shop near by, let them help you as far as your form and technique go. All we can really tell you is "learn how to do it right and practice alot"....

Start off shooting just 2 or 3 arrow groups (multiple groups in any one session)and don't shoot every day until you build up your "bow muscles". I think that excessive shooting, or shooting while your muscles are tired and still recovering, does nothing but help you form bad habits. I am not saying don't shoot often, but I don't think that every day is necessarily a good idea either.

Practice as if it is a hunting situation.

Well i guess first make sure you bow is set up properly, "Tuned"

2nd: Make sure your shooting the correct arrows for your set-up. length, spine, ect..Go to your proshop for help on these things if your not sure.

3nd: Like others have sead. Practice, Practice ,practice, If you are hunting from a tree? Practice from a treeand when you think you have practiced enough? (Go practice somemore).

good luck.
