advice
I have located a huge bean field bordering the property I have access too, the problem is that there are no trees, virtually everything is 6-8ft pines .... but I located one path that leads to a cluster of 10 or so oaks. This spot is 40-50 yards off the road and the beanfield is 20 yards on the other side. My issue is this area is lit up with tracks an poo, I am concerned about deer being bedded but have put a 17ft ladder in an oak on the edge where three trails converge.. I will only hunt this in the afternoons - what do you guys think

RE: advice
They may be bedded down in the afternoons, so you might bump them on the way in to set up. That might be an early morning stand site....beat them in before they bed down....then kill them How far are the oaks from the pines?
