Can we all hunt the same little woodlot?

That would not work right, the people with out scent lok would smell the place up for the people wearing scent lok. Think about it.

Tony:

It was a joke. I live in NC, though.....and graduated from a Baptist affiliated Liberal Arts College.

If there weren't some truth to the joke.....it wouldn't be funny.

Ever see 'Footloose'?

Great Idea. Maybe we could include other stats like:

What Bow did you use?
Did you pay attention to wind?
What type of tree stand/blind did you use? (ladder, climbing, etc)
Time of kill (morning, mid day, evening)
Type of calls used (grunts, bleats, rattling, etc.)
Did you use any scents or lures?
What state were you in?

I'm sure there are others that would be interesting to see as well.
Direction facing
What type of bow string
What sight
Whisker Biscuit or Drop away
Time the stand was set up
Temperature
Arrows used
Broadhead used
What food was eaten on stand
What type of cell phone you have in your bag
What safty harness
Religion
Hours of scouting done
What type of camo
Nearest road nearby
High fence or not
Boot Size
Glove Size
Release
Peep used or no
What type of string supresser or limg thing
Stabalizer or not

Just a few variables I thought of

Again...it was a joke. Speaking of "generalizations"......you know where I live, right?

Sorry....gotta go....My house trailer needs a new roof, and the barefoot, toofless, unedumacatedkids in the yardare dangerously close to my moonshine still with their bikes. Besides.....Duke boys are coming on in a few.....and this isn't a re-run.

Yee haw.

So let me get this straight.

Lets say aguy who wears scentlock goes out and shoots a 80 inch buck this Fall...I on the other hand don't wear scentlok and decide to pass on all bucks that are under 125 inches or so and end up eating tag soup.

Your study would conclude the other guy had a more successful season than me since he shot a little buck and I didn't...AND that it was because he wore a scentlok suit

Keeping track of these numbers would prove absolutely nothing. Besides...science already proves that the suits cannot be reactivated.

i think if you have 200 hunters wearing scent loc and 300 with out it and 150 of the scentloc guys get bucks. Then only 150 of the 300 guys with out the scent lock get a buck it would show it helps.
it is not a one person to one person thing but a large group of each that would show it works.
What would it hurt to do it i think there should be alot more looked ta though.
Tree stand or ground hunting blind or out in the open.
How far it was shot.
Time of year
where at in the country
in a field thicket or trail.
