Jim we all have our vices. I'd never let myself get so out of shape physically that it became unhealthy.

But to each his own. We pick our poisons.

That's a lot of assuming, there. And I could make a few of my own about people's choices/vices/etc.... but I'll refrain.

I can say no matter how much money I have I will NEVER hunt go on on high fenced hunt or similar ranch style hunt for ANY animal. All these people that run these places are just pimps plain and simple. They prostitute the deer or what ever animal they have there penned up or fenced in.

I also will not hunt from a truck, over bait or go on a deer drive. It's all about fair chase for meand if it was easy there would be no deer.

But hey if it is legal I am not going to tell anyone they shouldn't hunt this way it's your choice just as it is my choice not to do it.

High fenced (cannedor big acres )isn'tfor me... but then baiting for deer, mechanical broadheads, road hunting and party hunting aren't for me either. That is the great thing abouthunting andlife in general...thechoices we can and get tomake. We don'tneed to evenexperience them first handto make a choice for or against.
GREAT post! All you that judge everyone can stick this quote in yer corn pipe and smoke it

Hey Steve,

Would you do it if I asked you to help cull six elk inside a 1200 acreoak brush ranch? The elk need to be killed before the fence can be removed. It won't cost you a penny! We just need your expertises...

Hey Will....Here's a good quote I read one time from Tom Watson...

"A lot of guys who have have never choked, have never been in the position to do so."
"I'd never date a stripper, Either!"

Yeah,....right.

You say, "But hey if it is legal I am not going to tell anyone they shouldn't hunt this way it's your choice just as it is my choice not to do it."

Right after you made statements like, "All these people that run these places are just pimps plain and simple. They prostitute the deer or what ever animal they have there penned up or fenced in." and "I also will not hunt over bait or go on a deer drive. It's all about fair chase for meand if it was easy there would be no deer."

Here is one of the biggest problems with people today ... assuming. You assume ALL high fence operations are the same.... You assume that hunting over bait or doing deer drives are not fair chase and they make it so easy that deer would be killed off ..

Ignorance is no excuse for judging what others do .... whether it's judging the person or the action ... now I'm talking about things that are legal.

Some of you guys kill me and I'm not just talking about Steve ....

PT,

Let's assume alcohol destroys brain cells, and brain cells are required to formulate rational thoughts/opinions. Withoutsuch brain cells, we can also assume a normal adult may be subject to the thinking capacity of an 8-13 year old? Is it safe to assume, then, that such an individual could be referred to as moronic?
