To answer the question simply without getting all philisophical about it , its all about antlers for me . I dont care for deer meat and donate it all to our local hush (hunters united to stop hunger) program . When I shoot does I do it for herd management , Itoss and turn at night dreaming oflarge racked bucks walking my way , not burgers andt-bones.

I hunt for antlers until rifle season roles around then it gets to the time I'll shoot a doe. However, sucess (to me)is just stepping out of life and into the woods, watching everything that walks by my stand not knowing I'm there is what makes me happy. I spend a couple months doing that then work becomes tolarable again and my wife can put up with me for another year.
