Default Question about deer movement

Being relatively new to deer hunting I have a quick question about deer movement, I set up a trail camera and got several pictures ofnice bucks from july 12th thru the 21st. Now I have been checking the camera once a week and have gotten nothing except a couple of does (this camera is placed by a corn feeder). Is this just the way deer are moving now, or is this something i should be concerned about?? Any input is appreciated.

Must deer movement, because while I don't have a trail camera out, I have been watching a few good bucks, but within the last week or so, they dissapered. My theory is that the corn around here is now mature, so there just holed up in the corn fields...I can't prove that or know it to be a fact, but that's my guess.

thanks for the reply solocamcan, there are no corn fields for miles around where this is at, i'm starting to wonder if maybe the heat has something to do with it.

It sounds like you might be visiting your camera WAY too much.. leading to your scent being left behind. The whitetail will pattern you.

Try moving the camera.. and stop checking it soooo much. And wear some rubber boots in.. maybe come to check your camera just before a rain.

Whatever you do.. eliminate some of the odor you are likely putting into your woods.

It could be just that simple.

-Or it could be something entirely different.-
