You're funny. WTF do "I" have to make an excuse about? I think I've done pretty well.;)
You don't have to make any, that's my point. I also think you have done well and I never said other wise. Congrats again.

I never make mention what's in (or might be)your woods....and you posting like you know what's in mine just shows your ignorance.

Sigh....I only posted that based on things you have said of deer in your area.... I did not make it up "like I know".Your defensiveness is over the top and unnecessary.

The subject matter does not bother me at all.... More so the frequency and excuseish nature of some of the posts.
You accuse me of making excuses.....and when I defend myself you agree (that I'm right...and that I have no reason to make excuses).....and then you criticize me for being defensive?

You're funny. I was right about that....lol.;)

You say this all the time.....and you make me laugh each time. If you'll promise to stop blowing gaskets....I'll promise to stop being defensive. Deal?

And BTW....ALL this horse ****....and you never even addressed the thread you're typing in.:D

Notice I said some of the posts... I was speaking of thesubject matterin general and not entirely about just you. Go back and read it again ;)

Ok I guess, although I did not blow any "gaskets", a couple years ago.... Ok maybe, but not anymore :DI left all my comments open ended and was only looking for a healthy debate.

Someone needs to go back and reread post number 77 ;)

BTW.... Is your neighbor's initials K.D.? If so, that buck your neighbor shot is a little... No, a lot bigger than you lead everyone to believe....

RE: Mature buck "Age structure" the "Great Equalizer"?

I find it fascinating that people who claim to be "mature buck" hunters would forego a "more" mature animal.......for one with more rack size....but who is less "mature" in age structure. I'm not condemning the practice.....just saying I find it "fascinating".
I find that fascinating as well.

"

Might" the reason for this be......that "age structure" is the "great equalizer" when it comes to hunting "mature bucks"?
I don't find myself hunting to be equal to anyone I know in this country. I hunt for me and me alone.

I mean.....a man in FL can target 3.5+yr old deer ......and in his mind.....he's leveled the playing field withhis compadrefrom IL.
He might. I don't think about it when I have a buck in front of me. I hunt for me.

Does this "leveling" of the playing field rub "some" the wrong way?
It might rub some people the wrong way but I'm not them and I hunt for me.

Curious at to your thoughts on this.
That's my thoughs on this and otherwise I don't care. I hunt for me. If joe smoe shoots a 150" 3.5 year old in KS or IL or OH and I shoot a 3.5 year old in my neck of the woods and he feel superior, so be it. I'm still happy.

There I hope I did better this time.

Scott:

I'll tell you his name (or if that's his initials...) IF you'll promise to not let this go....and to ride it out. I'll teach you a thing or two.

So.....How do you know the initials K.D.? Where did you hear of a buck shot by K.D.?

And....What size did I "elude" to? I never hinted to a size.

I'm game!

I know nothing other than a PM someone sent me. I was only asking you to verify it or not.
