I would recommend summit. I had a stand from walmart but it was noisy and difficult to climb with even though it had cables. the cables lost their stiffness and sagged so i had to lift them every time i wanted to go up. I now have 2 summit stands, and I am going to buy a summit cobra tonight from a guy that has used it 1x. can't beat the price at $100

Equalizer, hands down.

IMO, it BLOWS away every other climber, including any Summit or LW.

IMO, there's no stand that BLOWS away a Lone Wolf climber.

Actually I have and own two of it's orginal name.

They were made by a company in Minn. I cannot recall the name, because it was 6 years ago. They are a great stand. A little bulky for me, but they climb nice andare very nice to sit in.

Anybody remember what Equalizer used to be called and who made them?

Right now im using the summit goliath and love it. The summit viper is the same other than having a slightly small upper section and is very popular with the boys. I have had the ol-man original and it was to a good climber, plus the net seat was very comfy
