I know of one guy, that claims he has used 3d target as a decoy and that it worked. If it's true, I don't know.

I use my 3d quite a bit, but I only need to carry it about a hundred yards at the one place for morning hunts. I truck itout in the fieldto the other place to minimize the distance to carry it. You will get different results, some days it works and some days it won't. Iusually use it asa doe decoy around the first couple of weeks of november. Its alot of fun to watch how the deer react to it. It always seems to pull in mostly 1.5's. Keep it scent free as possible and it has to have some motion. Good Luck

Yes a 3d target will work as a decoy.

Ihave shot two bucks using a buck 3d targetwhich really doesn't look much like a real deer.

The sounds of my grunt call are what really did the trick to get them to come in and inspect it.
