RE: target as decoy?
i have a carrylight decoy and i use a turkey wing feather. i attach it to the decoy with a stick pin and fishing line. it blows in the wind real easy and it is light on the underneath side and dark on top just like the real thing. try it i wouldn't point you in the wrong direction. good luck

RE: target as decoy?
Until I get to friends house for real tail I am gonna try some white shelving foam non-skid,it's perforated.I just bought the target at wallyworld $50 ,it looks good on the edge of my woods in the corn. It's heavy but I run up with it in my ranger, set it up and leave fast.I need some help and this can't hurt.Do they make a good target?I have never tried one. I have read and watched decoys work on tv and my deer have never seen one,I don't think.I have a magnificent rub line and I may put the horns on an place it near that maybe ol big nuts will get jealous and appear. Please post any observations while using target asa decoy.

RE: target as decoy?
I have use a doe decoy 5 times this year, with estrous scent on the butt but have yet to have a doe or buck come investigate. I don't know if that is a coincidence or if it is scaring them off. I haven't tried the "white rag on the tail" trick yet.
