Default Ran into Mr. Jingles today!

My buddy and I were scouting a new food plot in the woods today. We were picking out a tree for stand depending on wind direction for fall paterns. After we found our tree we walked across the small food plot looking at shooting lanes. As we made our way across, my buddy and I looked down and a Mr. Jingles(aka 4 1/2 ft diamond back rattlesnake) slithered off less than a ft from us. We never saw him laying there. I will upload a picture soon. Also, i have posted a slightly used pair of boxers for sale in the classified area.

Don't have any diamondbacks here, but since we bought this place last fall several massaqua snakes have committed suicide on my weed whip. This area of this state is supposed to have timber rattlers, massaqua's, and water moccasins. All of them are "protected" and fortunately, all of them I have come across voluntarily threw themselves on the blade. Personally, most snakes don't bother me, but my wife has a fear of snakes that put her in a catatonic (sp?) state every time she sees even a baby garter snake. Wish there was something that would really work to keep them away (besides the .22).
