BOw Tech and Diamond ?

Right, I should trust the Salesguy more than anyone else....
So, if I'm researching a bow manufacturer to buy a new bow, I should desiregard what I see on the internet and go to the dealers, cause they are not biased at all.

Why come on these forums at all if everyone is lying to you?
There's a poll on AT right now askingwhethera person has had problems or not with various bows. How would you feel if I votedsaying I've had a problem with a Hoyt and you knew for fact that I've never owned one? (which I have owned several pre-2000 model year)See where I'm going with this? People have been caught red handed time and time again.
I really was not bashing Bowtech, I have often times said that the destruction of the limbs was more than likely the result of poor usage by the owner.
I didn't read what you stated as bashing, I just wanted to offer up some food for thought. Some people (not saying you) take what they read on the internet as gospel...Trust me, it ain't...

Unfortunately, I'll never own one, and its because of the fact that, to me, they have inherent problems.

Yeah, Pat. I agree. There are people who constantly degrade products that they've never used....and it does reveal their lack of credibility. Sad, huh (and sometimes, unprofessional)?
Imagine if a guy has a problem with a cam on a first generation Bowtech bow.....and then somehow tried to compare that to the models of today???? In the eloquent words of Bugs Bunny....."What a maroon". Matt and I were talking about this a while back....when there was a Bowtech limb poll going on over on AT. Matt had an issue with someone representing another bow company making disparaging remarks about Bowtech. I agreed with him. It's EXTREMELY unprofessional when people representing one company write negative comments/reviews when speaking about products within the industry.
Good call.
As far as the OP's question.....
I've shot the Diamond line.....and I own a Guardian. I wouldn't hesitate to take either to the woods, this fall.
Time and time again there have been people report or vote on a poll that they have had a problem with said product when in fact they've never even owned one. Of course when they're caught in their lies they try to back pedal and make excuses but it's too late to regain any lostcredibility.

Yeah, there was in fact 3 registered users that were smearing BowTech with a bunch of lies.Somehow someone tracked their IP addresses and found that they matched theIP addressof the President or Owner of one of our competitors. EXTREMELYunprofesssionalis right...

both are very good bows. Each has it's own merits. Just depends on what your looking for specifically. speed/smoothness. I do suggest that you shoot the guardian b4 buying the black Ice, that way u know 4 sure which u like.

I'm with you 100% on it being unethical and bad business, though.

I did look and came to the conclusion you don't like Bowtech. That's your opinion and that's ok everyone has one.
And your poll shows that 72% of Bowtech owners never had an issue. So even though anyone could vote in the poll, your point still isn't validated.

I personally don't really get why you would post in a thread that a certain bow is crap compared to another without owning one. It seems a little 14 yr old girlish, and thats not my poll. I just searched for bowtech and grabbed a post.
I could personaly care less if you shoot a Mission or a Bear.

Here's a perfect example and this sort of thing happens often over there...

Someone registers as an alter just to talk bad about said products.
On post #18 you'll see what the conclusion was.
