Hunting..a number 1 priority?

The sad part is even with all the glorified "me, me, look what I did for my family first before hunting", you still have those that would never trade hunting for God. God, Family, Church, Self. In that order, or you haven't got it yet.

It is easy to quote scripture and call yourself this or that, but ask yourself. Do I really put God first?
As far as family mine would never make mechoose. Anyone that Loves you will not ask you to choose. If there is something family going on. You take care of Family no choice.

I don't understand "Making me choose", though? My wife scheduled our vacation when we could use frequent flyer miles....and when we could get the best rate at the resort we love best.
That happened to be in Oct. (Right in the middle of deer season). Our other vacation fell right in the middle of turkey season.
She didn't ask.....I didn't say a word. We're going back to Mexico.
She understands I love to hunt. But I'm just saying there are those who wouldn't go on that trip. I'm not passing judgement on them....if it works for them. Hunting just isn't my top priority.....which is what the thread was addressing.

which would you pick.....your family aka wife/husband and possible kids or would you pick hunting. I find that most couples give and take, you can have different interests....one likes to hunt the other likes to shop! haha. your thoughts?

I particularly like what Jeff had said "my family is my life".

No problem at all, LT....have you seen her?[8D]
Also...I'm just being honest.....
I'm a religious man.....but there isn't a commandment I can think of (off the top of my head) that I wouldn't break in a HEARTBEAT.....if it meant I could provide or protect my family.
So.....I'm happy you guys are pious. Good for you. I'm just being honest about how I see things.

The above highlighted quote is a grave contradiction of terms and prioritys though.
I was joking about her making decisions. My wife does that as well sometimes. But the above statement tells me all I need to know about where your priorities are.
