Oh, probably #5 when I' m walking to my stand; #4 when I' m climbing into my stand and hauling up all my crap onto a postage-stamp sized platform; #3 when I' m anticipating what is going to walk out in front of me; #2 when I actually see the deer in the field; and when they get close enough....#1 always wins out. I hate psychoanalysing my deer-hunting-----Dave

I have been dear hunting for only 8 years (got started late at age 27). I am at the number 2 stage. I got six deer last year a record for me. I gave three away and put three in the freezer.

well this is a good one. Ive been bow hunting awhile and im still learning, id have to say the shooter and the limit mix. im comfortable with my shooting and starting to take some decent deer so its just a matter of time before the trophy stage. Ive taken a few nice bucks including my first with the bow. but when it comes to the trophy stage i think I have to key on a few other things that comes with hunting. Thats what is awesome about bowhunting.............. always learning!!
