Default Quivers 101

I need to buy a new quiver, mostly because my other one is pretty wore out, and since i am going to start using rage 2 blade this year, i want a quiver that will hold them nicely, i am not looking to spend a whole lot, probably like just a kwikee kwiver or something, does anyone know if and of the kwikee kwivers hold rages good?

The Alpine Quivers... they have your normal foam insert for fixed bh's but it is removable, leaving another thin layer of foam to snug the tip of the mechanicals.

Bohning. Check em out. They havea "hollow" (for lack of a better term)hood, and they are very affordable.

The alpine is a good one along with the bohning lynx. The lynx is not nearly as quiet if you shoot with the quiver attached, but hold both fixe and mechanical heads well and is easy to remove. It is also pretty inexpensive.

I've used the Bohning for 3 seasons, now. Though I may go with an octane for this coming year....the bohning is quiet......affordable....and it holds the rage heads, perfectly.

I use the Kwikee combo 4 arrow. It has 2x arrow grippers so the hood is really just there to cover up the heads. There is no foam in it either to deploy the Rages. I also have tons of extra brackets so that I can carry it on my pack when on foot, and I carry the screwin bracket too in case I don't have a branch to hang it on in the tree.

A quick pic showing it on my pack:

Bohning Lynx works for me. I keep a spare bracket on my climber to hang it on.

I've got the same thing - old Alpine Bear Claw and switching to mechanical.

Was looking at Kwikee with 2 grippers and Lynx, which I think also has 2 grippers, which should both
hold mechanicals fine.

Is one quieter than the other? I shoot with my quiver on and don't want vibration.

Also, are they easy to take on and off?

I love my octane 2 pc., I've heard there may be some issues concerning the Rage blades sticking outof the hood, but I shoot Spitfire Pro and do not have that problem. May want to do some checking on that.
