Same theory as shooting the bow alot to let the strings stretch and set. I would do it.

Ever notice how after a few weeks of shooting a brand new bow, you have to adjust a few things ?

except the qad right?[8D]

I will add a peep and a D-loop and rough tune it. Nothing serious. I then will shoot it about 60 shots. Not just excercise. And then I will start seriously tuning it. First, I will make sure the wieght is where it should be as new, then I will bareshaft tune to make sure I got the right spine and to center rest. If the rest is way to the one side or another, I will change arrows/tips.
