I own both and really like both. The Truth 2 has a better cam design with its asymetrical track and draw length module and draw stop. Both are solid bows, but the Truth 2 does have some design improvements, but both shoot very well. Add a string suppressor to the Truth 1 and it helps a lot as well.

i have a truth 2, and most of the time, a second version of something is better, as long as the company improves on their mistakes, like bear did

I have the Truth 1 and I love it. I have not shot the Truth 2 but it seems like basically the same bow, with some added string suppressors. I have heard that the Truth 2 is actually a few fps slower then the Truth 1, but a lot quieter. I'm sure you can probably find a Truth 1 pretty cheap right now though so that's a plus. I haven't had a chance to hunt with mine yet, but so far its been real accurate.
