Is there a good reason to replace strings other than fraying? My peep hasn't moved and the bow shoots very well.

I have the original set of Winners Choice strings on my Ross and they look the same as they did 2 years ago when I got the bow. A little bit of fraying that happened right away before I started waxing the string. Now I wax the string every couple weeks and I only shoot about 10 arrows per day average. That 10 arrows per dayis over 2 years though.

Im still shooting my original string since 2001. But its been served twice and is still in good condition. Will probably put a new one on this year and go with a tubeless peep as well.
